How do you take fake nails off?

So, I understand how you put on fake nails, but do they come off easily like if you peel them off or do you have to do some special thing to get them off?

Thanks in advance!!How do you take fake nails off?
If you're speaking of the press-on variety, those things come off pretty easily.

If you are asking after the chemical paste kind, the stuff they put on at a salon, I'd beware. There are people who have worn them for years and years, but I guarantee you they'll have grody, damaged nails when they are old. Those things don't come off without some painful time with a toenail trimmer, or soaking for literally hours. Or, they clip and grind them off at the salon- which hurts more, because they often dip down into your actual nail bed. Honestly, your natural and shorter nails are more lovely than big plastic clacky chunks at your fingertips. (Ooh, plus, your real nails will ache for a day or two after you first get them on, because you'll be bonking them on everything.)How do you take fake nails off?
you should soak your nails in a bowl of acetone polish remover, to wear down the glue and then in warm water, or vice versa then gently start pulling on the nails to pry them off, DO NOT yank or tear at them, slowly and gently, till they pop off. Harshly will cause chipping off which will leave broken pieces stuck to your nails. You can do that or go to a nail salon and pay the money for them to remove them. Good luck
Well depends what kind of fake nails, like my friends %26amp; I always got these plastic ones from like...walmart or the mall, somewhere like that. And it comes with glue and you glue them on. To get them off, you can soak your hands in hot water for like 15 minutes, or after awhile you can pull them off (pain free :D) just depending on how much glue you put on! :D
DO NOT PEEL THEM OFF. This will damage your real nails!! Instead, soak them in a bowl/cup of nail polish remover until they fall off or are almost completely unglued. There are also containers found near the nail sections at most drug stores that are one container-shaped sponge presoaked in nailpolish remover that works great. :3
If you are talking about the kind you buy at wal-mart just soak your fingers in hot water for about 10 mins and then try to pull them off. If you are talking about the kind you get in a shop they have a special soak to take them off.
This is how i took mine off. :)

1. I let them grow outt until i could see 1/3 of my nail.

2. when they were ready to come off, i soaked them in nail polish remover for about 30 mins.

3. i peeled them off with my teeth, ew i know, but it worked!
Take a cutip and dip it in nail polish remover, then rub it all around the crease of the nail and then peel it off.
My mom does it all the time and I think you just dunk them in Nail Polish Remover and then carefully peel them off. It makes your nails look nasty though, but that's the only way to do it (i think).
its best to get them removed at a salon

you cant ever peel off fake nails you will rip your nail off

an easy way is to try to move the fake nail around like bite it or something lol.
File off all the extra stuff until it only covers your actual nails. Then soak them in warm water for a while until they are loose.if it doesn't work soak them in nail polish
Dip them in nail polish remover for a couple minutes.
Get a bowl. Put some nail polish remover. Let them soak in that for a few minutes. Then try peeling them off.
i would think soaking them in warm water it might melt the glue
dip them in nail polish remover!!
Rip em off!
its hard
