Should i use hot water or acetone to remove my fake nails?

some tell me hot water others tell me acetone so...what should i use?Should i use hot water or acetone to remove my fake nails?
Your going to be there for a long time if you just use hot water hun! Do you have acrylic nails on that were applied by a nail techician? Gel nails? Or stick on ones, you did yourself? Ideally you should visit your nail technician to take them off, but I know this isnt always ideal. So get yourself some acetone and soak your tips in there for as long as you need to this can take upto half an hour. Dont try to pull them away from your nail bed as you will take off layers and be left with soft weak nails. You can use and orange stick to scrape off any soft top layer once you have soaked them for a while. It also makes it easier if you flie your nails right down, then there is less to soak off.

Once you are done dont forget to treat your nails to some moisturiser and if you have one a calcium treatment topcoat!

Good Luck it does take some time, but its better than broken nails!

Soak them in Acetone for 10-15 minutes, maybe a little longer, Then nail should soften and you can lift up,or push the softened nail off, with something like a orangewood stick.
use warm water, and after all over, apply some cream on the remaining skin, it works goods! :)
