I would like to get fake nails but i need help?

Ok so i want to get the cheap stay on for 8 days nails from dollar general. My friends suggested that maybe i go to the salon and get them done but i hear they cost more and can damage your nail underneath. Is that true and if yes which one should i go with i want my nails to look pretty but not too damaged and if i can go to the salon could i get colorful tips?I would like to get fake nails but i need help?
Getting your nails done from the salon can damage your nail underneath, if they use a drill for a too long instead of a nail file by hand before they apply the tips and the acrylic. You'll notice because they'll feel a little sore underneath. Most places don't file by hand, and use drills, which are okay, just as long as they're careful. The other way you can damage your nails is if you don't soak them off (and pull them off), which all you do is just get some extra strength nail polish remover and sit for a bit and they'll soak right off, and your nails will be fine! Personally, I'd get white tips, cause they go with everything, but then again, if you're in a fun mood go for color! Hope this helps. :)I would like to get fake nails but i need help?
Acrylics do mess up your nails pretty bad! If youh wnt youh cud ask to get color tips.Youh shud go for the stick on nails first!
well it all depends on how long you leave them on for and how strong your nails are, but no matter what once you take the salon nails off(acrylic) your nails will be softer then usual but they will deffiantly strengthen up again, and its only about 25 in most places for acrylics.
