You could possibly still, yes. Even if the acrylic is over just your natural nail, water can still get up under the fake nail %26amp; rest in between your natural nail %26amp; the fake one, causing problems as well.

I Looovvveee! Going to the nail salon to get my nails and pedicure. I've maintained my nails for over 3 years. My advice is to not use acrylic. Use silk wrap. Acrylic will only make your natural nail week and it provides no nutritious. Silk on the other hand strengthens your natural nail. You can get a fungus if the salon you go to do not sterilize the equipment they use on clients. So be sure your nail salon is clean, and professional. Besides that, Have fun!
