How do I take my fake nails off on my own?

How can I take off my acrilic nails without ripping them off painfully or going to the shop to pay for them to take them off??How do I take my fake nails off on my own?
Soak them in nail posish.

Then Slowly work them loose. How do I take my fake nails off on my own?
Don't rip them off! It's so damaging!!

Polish remover doesn't work. You will need to use pure acetone. Pour some in a glass bowl and soak your nails. You will only be able to do one hand at a time. Soak them for about 20 minutes, then using an orangewood stick scrape off the loosened product. Soak and scrape until it's all off. If you remove your hand from the acetone while soaking it will start to set up again so keep it in the acetone.

If your acrylic nails had a gel overlay then you will need to file the top of the nail to break the seal of the gel otherwise the acetone won't budge the product.

Well what my sister and I did was clip them of with nail clippers. Then when they're short again just put the nail clipper in side the fake nail between your real ones and push up ans clip off. I didn't hurt me at all.

Soak them in Nail polish remover or 100% acetone. They will fall right off!
