How do you remove fake nails?

I put them on yesterday put i want to be prepared.How do you remove fake nails?
soak them in warm water, i always use a nail file to peel them off after the glue dissolves a little.

you can go to the salon and get them to do it, but it usually cost just as much as it did to put them on. or just touch up.





but what i do is get a heavy duty mail filer, soak your nails in polish remover, and flie them until they're off.


then smooth them with a 4-step nail buffer.





don't rip them off!!


it'll make your nails bleed, and that's not fun.

Depends if you got them done at a nail salon ( acrylic) or if put them on yourself ( press ons). If they're press on, just soak your fingers in hot soapy water, they should start to pop off. As for acrylic, get them taken off the nail salon, they'll charge you 5-10, but your nails will be intact. OR you can be me, and chew them off. LOL. It's gross and painful, but free.
Don't listen to the people telling you to ';pull them off'; or whatever. That is just awful. Try soaking them in a bowl of nail polish remover [make sure that it's NOT non-acetone] until they are soft and peel up with no pain. It should NOT hurt to take them off!
You can either go to your closest nail place not ';salon'; and get them soaked off for under ten dollars..

Or you can buy a bottle of nail polish remove WITH acetone.. Acetone free will not work and soak them off yourself.. Takes about an hour..
acetone is for acrylics but if you just glue them on yourself you can loosen them with water and they can peel off. however the peeling option can hurt if they aren't very loose.
Soak them in acetone then gently lift them from your own nails..dont pull, just wait till they have loosened enough to be pulled off easily without pain.


Nail varnish which contains acetone is also a good substitute for pure acetone.

You have to use fake nail removers. You can find it in the fiction dept. at the drug store.
Just to let you know it's paiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnn ful and you have to ';peel as my mother says but really it's rip them off
